"Very much enjoyed these lectures. David Rohl is a fantastic lecturer and you can tell he knows a very great deal about Egyptology and archaeology in general. His views are controversial yet plausible, with some still waiting to be verified by future excavations. He agrees with Kenneth Kitchen on the site of the Red Sea crossing, which is at odds with the conclusions drawn by Patterns of Evidence. But he comes across as fair-minded and open to correction if he is wrong. He certainly is gifted at taking complex subject material and making it accessible to lay people such as myself. "I never write reviews but these lectures are so good i just had to. I would give 6 stars if it was possible! Incredibly thorough documentation, reasoned argument and evidence for everything he proposes, delivered with an engaging style, and so compelling i had a hard time not binging on the entire thing. Definitely stayed up too late a couple of nights after saying "let's watch for a half hour." I was so glad to see David Rohl in the Patterns of Evidence movies after reading his book Pharaohs and Kings probably twemty tears ago, and these lectures are a much deeper dive into that material. The detailed correlation of biblical details with extrabiblical sources totally supports the truth of the historical narrative found in God's word, and reinforces one's fairh in it as a reliable historical record insread of the depressing "bible is a myth"view pervading orthodox academia, that has deceived too many believers into doubting the basis of their faith. The broader context for the biblical events is fascinating and brings the characters to life in a remarkable way. From a technical production quality perspective, it's very good and you can see the slides easily the way they are inserted so you don't miss anything the live audience sees. David Rohl is a treasure. Just buy these DVDs and you will be glad you did. Definitely something to watch multiple times."

"I would recommend these DVDs for the clarity and depth of the evidence given by David Rohl. I must add that his standpoint of agnosticism intrigues me. Customers in the UK need to be warned that the Royal Mail will demand a Customs Charge, which was even more than the US shipping charge. By the end I reckoned it was worth it."
