Did Moses write the first books of the Bible? Many mainstream scholars say NO! But the Bible states YES!  Award-winning filmmaker Timothy Mahoney (Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus) is back again, bringing new evidence to light in the latest documentary: Patterns of Evidence: The Moses Controversy.

What Mahoney's investigation led to is the work of one recent scholar's groundbreaking discovery that the world's first alphabet actually originated in Egypt. Did the Israelites invent this alphabet in time for Moses to write the Bible?

This thought-provoking and controversial film asks hard questions of some of the world's leading experts in Egyptology, ancient Hebrew and early languages. Filmed in Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Europe and the USA with stunning cinematography and life-like Biblical recreations, Patterns of Evidence: The Moses Controversy will captivate audiences of all ages.

Great film- pure fantasy.

"One has to look no further than the ‘Epic of Gilgamesh’ written in 325 BC, the oldest know texts in human history, to find the origin of the mythology of “Moses”. The Story of the great flood and consequently the story of Noah is also in the Epic of Gilgamesh. The Epic of Gilgamesh was written almost one thousand years before the judo Christian bible in Mesopotamia, which now Iraq. It is hardly difficult to surmise living in vast a desert contained nomadic tribes that cross pollinated culturally and their mythologies blended and evolved. Christians are so desperate to look for and ‘prove’ their god exists while promoting the ideological value of ‘faith’ as the nucleus of the power of their belief. Have a nice day."

A favorite film

"This video is so exciting to me. I watch it over and over. I am amazed and delighted by the way God fit history together in breathtaking detail. I appreciate very much that Timothy Mahoney lays out disparate opinions by the experts he interviews. He never tells one what to think or believe, he simply presents the information and leaves one to make one's own conclusion."

The Moses Controversy helps take away controversy

"Tim Mahoney's second feature film in the Patterns Of Evidence series is another masterpiece of investigative film making. The movie is beautifully shot and the cinematography is breathtaking. More importantly, the movie takes us straight to the heart of the matter: Did Moses actually write the Pentateuch, or the first five books of the bible? Tim Mahoney again provides a fair and balanced approach to the subject with equal time given to both sides of this highly debated and hotly contested subject. Hard questions are asked and hard answers are given with thoughtful insights and compelling arguments from both sides. You be the judge, but there's much more at stake here than just academics. The veracity and credibility of the Bible itself is placed under critical scrutiny, like armor being tried and proven first before being worn into battle. As the latin saying goes: "Falsus In Uno, Falsus In Omnibus". If the bible is proven false in one point, where else is the Bible wrong? The answer: We can trust the bible! For those who sit on the fence of the apologetics argument, this wonderful series will help to strengthen and bolster one's faith and empower the apologetic argument for the existence of God and the miraculous inspiration, preservation, and truth of His word in the Authorized, King James Bible."
